Chemical sunscreens contain ingredients such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, octisalate, avobenzone, which create a chemical reaction. Physical sunscreens are inorganic (without carbon) compounds that physically reflect or scatter ultraviolet radiation. Physical sunscreens contain ingredients such as titanium dioxide or zinc oxide.
